{"id":154,"date":"2022-10-18T10:36:48","date_gmt":"2022-10-18T10:36:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pompespcr.fr\/pumping-lime-slurry\/"},"modified":"2022-12-06T10:31:34","modified_gmt":"2022-12-06T10:31:34","slug":"pumping-lime-slurry","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.pompespcr.fr\/en\/pumping-lime-slurry\/","title":{"rendered":"Pumping lime slurry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PCR pumps<\/strong> have been transferring <strong>lime slurry,<\/strong> whose density per litre can vary from 100 to 600 grams, for almost 40 years.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NOur proposal will depend on <strong>your needs<\/strong>, your installation and its constraints, such as the volume of water to be treated.<br\/>The most common arrangement is as follows: The pump draws the lime slurry into a tank equipped with a mixer, either by direct tapping (loaded pump) or by means of a (gooseneck) pipe.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pump drives the lime slurry through a pipe (preferably flexible, spiral) to the water tank to be thinned.<br\/><strong>We recommend using hose barb couplings<\/strong> to avoid any air intake. The flow rate (and therefore the speed) of the pump is automatically controlled by a frequency board, generally located in the station&#8217;s electrical control cabinet. This frequency board is connected to a PH meter, which measures the hardness of the water. The &#8216;reverse&#8217; function of the frequency board allows the direction of the pump to be reversed, to clean the entire network and to <strong>avoid any risk of decantation in the event of an extended shutdown<\/strong> of the installation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PCR pumps have been transferring lime slurry, whose density per litre can vary from 100 to 600 grams, for almost 40 years.
